Salt and Light Club
The Friday night Fun-and-Family place to be...It's for kids in Pre-K through 6th grade (we ask parents of the youngest kids to stay, but all parents are invited to spend the evening with us) and it's held each week from 7-8:30 p.m. Those in 7th grade and up are a part of the Salt and Light Leadership Team, and help provide lots of energy!
Each week, there are special ingredients to Salt and Light Club - whether it's the Video Devo, Games, with or Spirit Wars.
Music is a huge part of our Friday nights. In the Salt and Light Band, Bethany leads the singing, and we praise the Lord together, with Pastor Bill on drums, Mark and Matt on guitar & bass, and Steve on keyboard.
Salt and Light Club means an outside campfire, an indoor "snowball" fight, Professor Baker the Science Maker showing us experiments (since God created science, after all!), talent night, a scavenger hunt, collecting money for children in Russian orphanages, the Extreme Yard Sale, and much more. The night ends with a Movie Devo by Pastor Bill. He shows a movie clip and challenges the kids from the Word of God in thinking Biblically. And each week, every kid is sent home with "Salt and Light Bible Work" to share as a family: daily reading from the Bible, and a verse to memorize.
